My goal for CitrusHillsInfo.com has always been to make it the most comprehensive independent resource for people considering a move to the Villages of Citrus Hills.
I moved to Citrus Hills in 2019, but my own journey began two years earlier. We traveled here three times before purchasing our home, and I remember just how many questions come with relocating across the country. That's one of the reasons I created this website — to put the information I wished I had when we were researching Citrus Hills all in one place.
After years of working as a Realtor and helping buyers and sellers in Citrus Hills, my role has changed. I am now focused on helping people research and understand the community and decide whether Citrus Hills is right for them.

Jacqueline Dabb brings a unique perspective to CitrusHillsInfo.com — not only from years of working in real estate, but from making the same retirement and relocation decisions many of her readers are considering today.
Originally from the suburbs of Chicago, Jacqueline graduated from high school at age 16 and went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Illinois University and a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. Her career included more than two decades as an educator, along with real estate experience in California, Utah, Virginia and Florida.
Jacqueline and her husband, Mike, discovered Citrus Hills while searching for their own retirement destination. Rather than making a quick decision, they visited the community several times and even rented a villa in Terra Vista for a month so they could experience everyday life here for themselves.
During that time, they explored the golf courses, dining, spa and fitness facilities, social activities and the surrounding Nature Coast. The proximity to Crystal River was particularly appealing, with boating, fishing, manatees, dolphins and the waterways of Florida's Nature Coast less than 20 minutes away.
They ultimately chose to make Citrus Hills their home.
From Citrus Hills Homeowner to Real Estate Professional
After moving to Citrus Hills, Jacqueline continued her real estate career in Florida, representing both buyers and sellers. Her first Florida real estate transaction was actually the purchase of her own Citrus Hills home.
She quickly developed firsthand knowledge of the different villages, homes, amenities and lifestyle choices within Citrus Hills. In her first year, she represented more than $3.5 million in real estate sales and was later recognized by BestAgents.us as a 2023 Top Agent.
Those years also gave Jacqueline an opportunity to work closely with people facing many of the same questions she and Mike had faced: Where should we retire? Which community fits us? What will it really cost? What amenities will we actually use? And what is it like to leave longtime friends, family and a familiar home and relocate across the country?
A New Role — The Same Local Knowledge
Today, Jacqueline's role has changed. Rather than personally handling real estate transactions, she focuses on CitrusHillsInfo.com and helping prospective residents understand Citrus Hills before making such an important decision.
Her experience as a Citrus Hills homeowner, former Realtor and cross-country relocator gives her an unusually practical perspective on the questions people have before moving here.
