On September 10th, the Villages of Citrus Hills held a open meeting at the activity center to
information on the Sports Complex and Davis Reserve. General Manager Anthony Lambert lead the meeting with attorneys Kyle Moses and Eric Ables joining him on stage.
Davis Reserve Construction is Progressing Quickly
Construction on the club house at Davis Reserve is happening quickly. It is projected to be completed early next year. (Maybe March?) There have been many questions about where the pool will be located. Mr. Lambert said that the pool will be located on the 486 side of the building which is the backside of the activity center. There will be resort style amenities with a bar and grill with outside dining. The pool will have a zero entry one loungers in the pool. Mr. Lambert shared that the club is planning to have shaded cabanas and cocktail service at the tables by the pool. There will be locker room and an entertainment area for bands and shows. The club is planning to have nightly entertainment at Davis Reserve. Mr. Lambert also announced that the Club is planning to have outdoor yoga and tai chi classes in a open shaded area of Davis Reserve. There will also be 2 championship pickle ball courts at Davis Reserve and fitness stations under cover. Attorney Kyle Moses said there would be a "ninja warrior" style outdoor course. When asked about parking, Mr. Lambert shared that there would be about 80 parking spots for cars and additional parking for golf carts. Mr. Lambert also stated that the Club has requested that a designated crossing for golf carts from Terra Vista to Davis Reserve has been submitted to the City. We are waiting for approval.
Davis Reserve will have a CDD. It is already in place according to Kyle Moses. The CDD was established for 399 lots and does not include Brentwood.
Timelines
The Club is estimating that the guard shacks for Davis Reserve and Brentwood will be open and fully functional within 45-60 days. The Club is hoping to open the excersize area and walking trails as soon as they are finished in about 60 days. They are planning a Grand Opening, but don't want to have residents wait to enjoy the amenities. The estimated timeline for the opening of the Davis Reserve amenities is next summer sometime in quarter 2. The Club is also hoping to have the Sportsplex completed by quarter 2. There will be dedicated golf cart parking at Rockwood Park. The walking trails to Hunt Club have not changed and are open.
